Dear DAV Leader,

It is my great pleasure to invite all DAV members to join us in the spirit of service and advocacy at the 2017 Mid-Winter Conference, which will take place February 26-March 1 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott located at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia, 22202.

A tentative schedule, guidelines for successful meetings and talking points covering the reform of VA health care, VA's budget for fiscal year 2018, services for family caregiver support, women veterans and appeals reform, can be found here. A negotiated room rate of $195 per night can be accessed online or by calling the hotel directly at 703-920-3230. Make sure to mention group name "Disabled American Veterans."

The highlight of the conference will commence Tuesday, February 28, when DAV National Commander David J. Riley addresses a joint session of the House and Senate veterans affairs committees at the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C.

Please join me, along with hundreds of our brothers- and sisters-in-arms, at this year's Mid-Winter Conference, where we can tell lawmakers on Capitol Hill to once again keep the promise made to the men and women who served and sacrificed.

See you in Washington,

J Marc Burgess
