Why We “Go 5K”

We go 5K because we realized that our protection of soldiers and military veterans shouldn’t stop when they leave the battlefield.  Fischer Connectors has been providing rugged connector solutions to military contractors for decades, helping them make more reliable devices. And because we like to protect military personnel wherever they are, we thought it would be a great idea to extend our resources to help veterans even after they’ve left the service.  When we discovered the DAV and all the fantastic things they do to help disabled American veterans live their best possible lives, we knew this was a place we wanted to be, too.  Our team based in Alpharetta, Georgia, is geared up and ready to run, walk and ride in support of this Veteran’s Day event!

DAV assists veterans by helping them gain access to the medical, financial and educational benefits they’ve earned along with connecting them to meaningful employment opportunities.  All services are provided free of charge.
